U19s edged out with only 10 men

With only 9 fit players and 1 injured Ella were very unlucky to come away with nothing going down 2-1 against a full strength wildcats blacks. Ella started off on the front foot and should have taken the lead in the 1st min with Kier Allwood being put through on goal but Blacks keeper kept it out. A few more chances came Ella’s way but to no avail. Blacks went into a 2-0 lead and then Ella kept pressing and just before HT Kier slotted the ball back to Jack Loz on the edge of the box and he slotted home to make 2-1. The 2nd started with some good football from Ella but were kept at bay with some good defending from Blacks. U19s come out of goal fest as winners!

The U19s made a tough day of it scraping a 6-5 win against South Cave. After being 4-2 down at half time the boys clubbed together to rescue 3 points with a goal in the dying minutes to complete a fantastic come back. That makes it 3 wins out of 3 to keep them at the top of the league, let’s hope they can continue their great run of form. The goals came from  Joel Chapman 4 Jack Loz 1 Kier Attwood 1

A great cup win for the U19s

Westella & Willerby u19s won today and are through to the next round of the u18s county cup. With a 10 – 1 with goals coming from. Josh Barrett 3 Adam Palmer 3 Joel Chapman 3 Kier Allwood 1 Great team effort from all 11 players.
